Payroll Solutions Support Specialist (SG & MY payroll)

Omni HR is a VC-backed SaaS startup in Singapore that automates the entire employee lifecycle – from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement and payroll – allowing HR teams to focus on strategic work that drives business growth.

We are seeking a Payroll Solutions Support Specialist to support our clients in using Omni’s payroll software effectively. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for payroll-related questions, helping clients troubleshoot issues, configure payroll processes, and understand how to get the most value out of our platform.

This is not a payroll processing role; instead, you will combine your knowledge of Singapore & Malaysia payroll practices with strong problem-solving and communication skills to deliver excellent client support and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to bring client insights back to improve our payroll solution.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for client payroll-related inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses
  • Guide clients through using Omni’s payroll software, from configuration to troubleshooting
  • Provide best practices and practical guidance on payroll processes within the context of our system
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and ensure a smooth client experience
  • Track, document, and follow up on payroll-related support cases
  • Educate clients on new payroll features, updates, and enhancements
  • Collect and relay client feedback to inform product development and improvements

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in payroll support, payroll operations, or a client-facing role within HR / payroll software
  • Strong understanding of Singapore & Malaysia payroll regulations
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain payroll concepts in a clear and client-friendly way
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning and using SaaS applications
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple client cases in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of payroll of other countries is a plus
