Job description

Position : Health, Safety, Environment & Compliance Advisor

Location : Bangsar South City, Kuala Lumpur

Industry : Oil & Gas (Shared Services)

Work Mode : Hybrid (4 days in-office, 1 days WFH)

Contract : 6 months via PERSOL (extension possible)

Salary : RM7,000 – RM15,000 (based on experience & qualifications)

Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced HSE&C Advisor to support health, safety, environment, and compliance activities across Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines market. The role ensures risks are identified, assessed, and effectively managed while driving alignment with global HSE&C standards. You will work closely with regional leaders to deliver training, enhance compliance, and implement safety systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Implement HSE&C plans in line with global strategy, with focus on Malaysia-Singapore markets.
  • Ensure compliance with local legislation and international HSE&C standards (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, etc.).
  • Support leaders with HSE&C competence development and deliver training to workforce.
  • Integrate risk management into operational decision-making.
  • Lead implementation of HSE&C systems, including Control of Work, process safety, and risk management.
  • Conduct risk assessments, incident reporting, and investigations.
  • Drive communication and awareness programs to strengthen safety culture.
  • Provide support in crisis and continuity management when required.

Requirements :

  • University degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Formal HSE&C qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma) or graduate degree in HSE&C is desirable.
  • Significant experience in HSE&C or operational roles with substantial HSE&C accountabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE&C within an international business environment.
  • Ability to work strategically and operationally, with knowledge of plant and technical environments.
  • Green card or similar HSE qualifications are expected as standard for qualified professionals in Malaysia.
