Work Location : IOI City, Putrajaya

Work Arrangement : Fully onsite, Monday to Friday (5 days a week)

Role Overview :

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining system performance, automating workflows, and ensuring high-quality deployments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges, deploy new features, and implement security best practices, while continuously improving processes and documentation.

Key Responsibilities :

Monitor system performance, investigate alerts, and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.

Collaborate with teams in a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) approach to resolve challenges and deliver new features.

Maintain and support CI / CD pipelines for automated integration and deployment.

Automate manual tasks to enhance efficiency and productivity (e.g., Jenkins files, shared libraries).

Maintain and improve production support and development cycle documentation.

Implement and enforce security best practices, including compliance checks and secure deployment processes.

Experience Required :

6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.

Strong understanding of software development processes and / or developer experience.

Experience in the finance, banking, or insurance sector is preferred.

Academic Requirements :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.

Alternative learning paths (e.g., coding bootcamps) will be considered.

Certification in DevOps practices is an advantage.

Technical Skills :

Proven experience with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, RTC, SonarQube, and JUnit.

Experience in development using Java.

Knowledge of Spring Boot and Hibernate frameworks.

Hands-on experience with on-premises infrastructure (Linux servers, JBoss, Tomcat).

Proficiency in Oracle and SQL databases.

Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace).

Scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell).

Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).

Familiarity with collaborative tools (Jira, Confluence).
