The Cloud Systems Engineer will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing cloud-based systems while providing L2 / L3 technical support for enterprise cloud services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, scripting, and troubleshooting, ensuring high availability and performance for customers.
Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure & Support
- Provide back-end cloud support for customer-facing teams, ensuring SLA compliance
- Monitor cloud services (AWS / Azure) for performance, security, and cost optimization
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated cloud infrastructure issues (VM, networking, storage, DB)
- Analyze and troubleshoot customer file issues (XML, JSON formats) when required for investigations
- Maintain internal knowledge base (Confluence, KB articles) for incident resolution
Automation & Optimization
Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for cloud operationsKnowledge in CI / CD pipeline improvements (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform - This is a plus)Identify and implement cost-saving measures in cloud resource usageCollaboration & Compliance
Work with DevOps, Security, and IT teams to ensure Cloud best practicesDocument processes and ensure compliance with IT security policies (ISO 27001, SOC 2)Participate in on-call rotation with on-call allowances#J-18808-Ljbffr
