We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Account Assistant / Executive to join the dynamic team at BBX Holdings (M) Sdn Bhd in Ipoh, Perak. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's accounting and bookkeeping functions, contributing to the overall financial success of the organisation.
What you'll be doing
Able to handle full set of accounts;
Prepare monthly financial reports and accompanying schedule and reports;
Process monthly billing, claims, and payment.
Ensure all the accounting records are correctly updated and reconciled in the accounting system (SQL accounting software)
Updating and generating weekly and monthly financial reports for management to review.
Liaison with the auditor and tax agent
Maintain proper documents and filing control to support accounting entries
Costing, variance analysis processes for business units.
Budgeting, forecasting, develop models to support strategic initiatives and business
decisions.
Analyze financial results, trends, and KPIs.
Partner with cross-functional teams to provide actionable financial insights.
Prepare and present monthly and quarterly management reports.
Support planning and projections.
Identify risks and opportunities to drive business performance improvements.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting.
Collaborate with leadership on ad-hoc analysis and special projects.
Ad hoc task or assignment when required.
What we're looking for
Must possess at least Higher Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Accounting
At least 3 years of working experience.
Computer literate (Microsoft Excel & Preferably SQL Accounting Software).
Good team player and willing to learn.
Analytical, resourceful, organised, able to work independently with minimum supervision and under tight deadlines.
Dealt with singapore compliance
Attention to both details and macros
Articulate and eager-to -learn, adapts to new challenges in a fast paced environment
The candidate must be proficient in both written and oral English communication.
Able to communicate and write in Mandarin is an added advantage.
Able to start work immediately or within short notice is preferred.
