Overview
Senior Specialist, Corporate & Commercial Recovery role at RHB Banking Group . You will join to manage impaired accounts and ensure effective recovery strategies are executed to protect the bank’s interests.
What You Will Be Doing
- Evaluate and assess impaired customers’ proposals, settlement requests, and work-out schemes
- Monitor and ensure timely implementation of restructuring and recovery (R&R) plans and settlements post-approval
- Liaise closely with customers, solicitors, valuers, insurers, auditors, financial advisors, receivers, liquidators, and other relevant business partners
- Monitor the performance of rehabilitated non-impaired accounts and oversee exit strategies
- Initiate legal actions when necessary to safeguard the bank’s position
- Conduct credit reviews, renewals, and impairment assessments in line with FRS139
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Provide timely updates and reports to management on account status and recovery progress
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in corporate or commercial recovery, credit risk, or related fieldsStrong analytical and evaluation skillsAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate effectively across various business partnersDetail-oriented and capable of making sound credit decisionsKnowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks related to recovery and credit managementProactive and driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityWhat We Offer
