Job Description
Main Role of Job :
- Reporting to the Head of Finance (based in Malaysia), this position requires someone who is fully responsible for Malaysia & Singapore accountings. We require someone who understands the full spectrum of accounts function including but not limited to AP, AR, GL, Inventory, Fixed Assets and any ad hoc projects.
Your responsibilities
Responsible full set of accounts in Malaysia and Singapore (AP / AR / GL / Inventory / Fixed assets)Liaise with auditors, tax authority and banks to ensure that policies, procedures, standards of performance and compliance are adhered.Work as business partner with the business unit or other departments to support / advise company's financial operations.Prepare financial statement, tax return, SST reporting and perform variance analysis.Prepare the month end closing management account to ensure compliance with accounting standards and other regulatory.Continuously drive and improve best practices, WI, Guidelines for finance and controlling.Key user for M2G, Business Intelligence, and any other IT projectsSupport company to drive the business targets, business strategies and any ad hoc projects.Supervise and coach the Finance team members.Qualifications
Professional Requirements
Degree in Finance & Accounting, qualified CA / MIAMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in handling full sets of accounts, controlling, financial analysis, and business planning, preferably in an international environment, preferably gained in an MNCAny experience with the construction industry would be an advantageHands-on Professional accounting experienceProfound knowledge of International IFRS and MFRSInternational Experience as well as Big 4 (Audit) Background would be welcomed.ERP knowledge, especially in SAP FI and CO modules is advantageousStrong communication skills, with fluency in verbal and written EnglishPassion to learn and drive to succeedProactive approach and self-reliant personalityAdditional Information
