CIVIL & STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (JUNIOR OR INTERMEDIATE)

OWH CONSULTING SDN BHD is seeking a talented Civil & Structure Engineer to join our growing team in Subang Jaya, Selangor. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in the design, analysis and development of civil and structural engineering projects for our diverse client.

What you'll be doing

Preparing detailed engineering drawings, calculations and specifications for civil and structural components of projects (Engineer with structural design experience also encouraged to apply)
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design compliance with relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards
Coordinate with local authorities for submission stage till CCC stage
Overseeing the construction process and monitoring the quality of work to ensure it meets required standards
Identifying potential problems and recommending solutions to optimise project outcomes

What we're looking for

Registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is compulsory

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in civil and structural engineering, preferably in the local consultant firm

Familiar with BS8110, BS5950, UBBL and others

Proficient in the use of engineering design software such as PROTA, STAADPRO and other structural software

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors and project stakeholders
