Job Overview :
This position is responsible to perform electrical maintenance & reliability related job functions in safe and effective manners for the electrical equipment management of a large-scale Air Separation plant, producing gaseous and liquid oxygen, nitrogen and argon products for our customers. The candidate will need to perform the following for electrical system :
Implement the Group's reliability and maintenance strategies, standards, best practices (BOP) and improvement plans to attain and sustain reliability KPI.
- Lead and coordinate daily site maintenance activities (PM, CM) to ensure tasks are completed as planned.
- Optimize resources required for routine and major maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot failures and recommend solutions, produce lesson learnt to share.
- Lead root cause investigation for major unreliability events.
Principle Responsibilities :
Equipment maintenance and reliability management (electrical system)
Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures using hand tool, power tools and test equipment.Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.Inspect and test electrical system, equipment and components to identify hazards, defect and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance to electrical regulation.Perform physically demanding tasks and heavy duties related to electrical fabrication, installation and maintenance, including work from ladders, scaffolds, and other complicated environment when required.Provide technical assistance and resolution; perform supervisory duties as required on electrical related work performed by internal personnel or contractor.Assist superior in planning, scheduling and monitor work when required.Ensuring To ensure skills at high level of safety, competency, quality and reliability
Maintain current electrical competency and license to meet governmental electrical regulations and company electrical authorization system.Fully follow instruction and collaborate with supervisor, engineer and other workshop personnel in every job involved.Fully comply with all safety requirement, rules and procedures.Advise or acknowledge superior on potential hazards and defect. Seek permission before making any modification.Participate training an ensure compliance to assessment that conducted by supervisor, engineer or company.People development

Knowledge and experience :
Certified Electrical BO Chargeman.Minimum 2-3 years of working experience as Electrical Chargeman.Mastering in electrical knowledge and able to relate it to process, instrumentation and control aspect.Familiar with ASU operations is a definite advantage.Required Language : Bahasa Malaysia, English.Personal qualities :
Good interpersonal, communication, and written skills.Able to work with colleagues from diverse and international backgrounds.Analytical and always looking to resolve the root cause of each problem.Self-learner, resourceful but know when to seek help.Ability to work independently and in a team, contributes on improving technology and being able to share the knowledge with each other.
