Software IT Engineer

Job Summary :

This role involves developing and supporting applications, preparing clear documentation, and working with both internal teams and external consultants. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with VB.Net / C#, SQL, and ERP systems. Strong communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills are essential. The candidate should also be able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Modelling business requirements and translating them into application and operational requirements
• Develops IT application solutions by preparing and evaluating alternatives with consideration of reliability, security, and ease of maintenance.
• Prepares Business / Functional Requirement Documentation by use of interviews, workshops, site visits, tasks, and workflow analysis.
• Project Management to coordinate between the business user and external consultant on support / new enhancement / change requests when applicable.
• Adhere to IT processes, including ticketing, tracking, support, administration, and maintenance of the company's ERP System
• Timely identification, resolution, and escalation of issues as necessary.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment with minimal supervision.
• Solution-driven with the ability to identify / analyze the problem, design solutions, and create documentation.
• Adequate project Management skills with good verbal and written communication skills.

Good knowledge and hands-on experience in Microsoft VB.Net / C#, SQL, and T-SQL.

Having an excellent knowledge of how the various IT systems operate and interact with each other, and knowing their capabilities and limitations.
