Position purpose
Reporting to the Retail / Sales Operations Executive, this role focuses on representing a hair care brand by delivering exceptional sales performance and customer service, fostering lasting customer relationships and creating a welcoming retail experience.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Drive store sales performance and achieve or exceed sales targets
- Analyse sales data and identify opportunities for growth
- Develop and implement strategies to increase customer foot traffic and sales conversions
- Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability
- Conduct regular store performance reviews and identify areas for improvement
Team Leadership & Management
Train and develop a high-performing store teamMotivate and inspire the team to achieve sales goals and provide ongoing support and coachingConduct regular team meetings and performance reviewsFoster a positive and inclusive work environmentAddress employee concerns and resolve conflicts effectivelyCustomer Service
Provide exceptional customer service to all store visitors, ensuring a memorable shopping experienceBuild strong customer relationships and foster loyaltyHandle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficientlyProvide personalized product recommendations based on customer needs and preferencesDemonstrate expert product knowledge and provide insightful beauty consultationsStore Operations
Ensure the store is always clean, organized, and visually appealingManage store inventory, including receiving, stocking, and processing returnsOversee store maintenance and ensure compliance with all safety and security regulationsImplement visual merchandising guidelines and maintain attractive store displaysEnsure adherence to all company policies and proceduresBrand Representation
Represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasmParticipate in store events and promotionsMaintain a strong understanding of Aveda's brand values and philosophyKnowledge & Skills
Extensive knowledge of hair care and / or skin care products is preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and connect with customersStrong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to motivate, coach, and develop othersProven ability to achieve sales targets and drive business resultsStrong customer service orientation with a focus on exceeding customer expectationsProficiency in English and / or Chinese to communicate effectively with people from all walks of lifeExcellent organizational and time-management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamRequirements
Minimum secondary education levelExperience in skincare, haircare, or a related field is a plusAt least 3 years of experience as a Senior Beauty Advisor or Store Manager in the luxury beauty industryProficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail softwareChampioning Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
