Storekeeper cum Production Officer

Key Responsibilities

A. Storekeeper Duties (Engineering Store Focus - 60%)

• Technical Inventory Management : Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials, including raw materials (steel, aluminum), mechanical components (bearings, seals), welding consumables, cutting tools, and spare parts.
• Storage & Preservation : Implement proper storage methods to prevent damage, corrosion, or deterioration of sensitive engineering materials. Manage controlled environments for specific items if required.
• Stock Control & Reordering : Maintain optimal stock levels for critical items. Monitor min / max levels and generate purchase requisitions for replenishment to avoid project delays.
• Parts Issuance : Issue tools, materials, and components to production teams and technicians against approved Material Request Forms and project job cards.
• Tool Room Management : Manage the tool crib, including the issuance, return, and maintenance records of calibrated and precision tools.
• System & Documentation : Maintain impeccable records in the inventory management system. Ensure all transactions are logged with relevant project codes. Prepare daily stock reports and coordinate for annual stock audits.
• Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) : Adhere to all company HSE policies, especially concerning the storage and handling of hazardous materials (e.g., chemicals, gases). Maintain a clean, safe, and 5S-organized storeroom.
