Technical Engineer (Mechanical) - Data Centre
Responsibilities :
- Report directly to the Manager of the Technical Service Department.
- Perform preventive and remedial maintenance for mechanical systems and equipment in data centre.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cooling and mechanical systems in the data center.
- Respond promptly to any mechanical equipment breakdowns, including during non-office hours, weekends, and public holidays.
- Assist Senior Technical Engineer, Assistant Technical Service Manager & Technical Service Manager in services such as :
Thermal scanning
CRAC unit maintenanceSplit Unit Air-conditioner maintenanceMechanical support for power shutdowns and load testing.Standby support for mechanical-related activities such as :Cooling system adjustments during load migrations,
HVAC system interventions.Install, test, and commission mechanical systems such as :CRAC units,
Split Unit Air-conditioners,Cooling systems (DX system, water cooling system, & Chill water-cooling system),Fire suppression and detection systems.Continuously learn and master mechanical systems and data centre related environmental systems to support preventive and corrective maintenance.Prepare and update all related maintenance documentation and service reports.Perform other tasks as assigned by the Technical Service Team Lead & Technical Service ManagerRequirements :
Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a relevant professional certification.At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.Experience involved in preventive, predictive maintenance planning, scheduling, execution and manning.Able to contribute effective solutions to solve issues.Positive and aggressive working attitude, able to think critically, a good team player and able to work independently.Willing to travel to client's plant around Klang Valley.#J-18808-Ljbffr
