Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all phases of project management including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Define detailed project scopes and objectives, incorporating all relevant stakeholder inputs from Research & Development (R&D), production, quality assurance, supply chain, marketing, and finance.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate comprehensive project plans including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress through appropriate project management tools, updating stakeholders regularly through reports and presentations.
- Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs with rigorous change control processes, ensuring project deliverables remain aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct risk assessments proactively and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on project delivery.
- Ensure strict adherence to company safety policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
New Product Development (NPD)
Lead and coordinate NPD projects from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business strategies and consumer trends in the beer industry.Collaborate closely with R&D and brewing teams to develop new beer recipes, ensuring feasibility, scalability, and adherence to taste profiles and quality benchmarks.Manage the development of product visuals, packaging designs, and labeling in compliance with legal and market regulations.Oversee pilot brewing trials, process validations, and sensory evaluations to ensure products meet desired quality and safety standards.Coordinate cross-functional teams to optimize production processes, cost-effectiveness, and supply chain readiness for new products.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in formulation, brewing technology, and packaging to maintain a competitive edge in the market.Beer Manufacturing Criteria and Compliance
Ensure all projects comply with brewing industry standards and regulatory requirements including hygiene, safety, environmental, and quality certifications (e.g., HACCP, ISO, local food safety laws).Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Production teams to embed quality controls and testing protocols into project deliverables.Monitor process capability and performance indicators to maintain consistent product quality and production efficiency.Support audits and inspections related to project activities and product launches, ensuring documentation and corrective actions are properly managed.Stakeholder Management and Communication
Act as the primary point of contact between internal departments, external vendors, contractors, and regulatory bodies throughout the project lifecycle.Facilitate regular project meetings, workshops, and presentations to align expectations and resolve issues promptly.Coach and mentor project team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.Documentation and Reporting
Maintain comprehensive project documentation including project charters, schedules, budgets, risk registers, meeting minutes, and progress reports.Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, and performance dashboards as required for effective project tracking and knowledge sharing.Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the food & beverage or brewing industry.Proven experience managing NPD projects, ideally within beer manufacturing.Strong understanding of beer production processes, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.Proficient in project management software (e.g. Ms Project) and advanced Ms Office (e.g. Ms Visio) skills.PMP or equivalent Project Management certification is highly desirable.Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills with a proactive approach.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong interpersonal, coaching, and team leadership skills.Effective communication skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.Demonstrated resourcefulness, initiative, and commitment to continuous improvement.Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and negotiation skills to manage project costs and vendor relationships.Workplace
