Supervise daily activities of facilities personnel and manage external contractors' work to ensure efficiency and performance.
Plan and implement comprehensive maintenance programs, including preventive and corrective measures, for mechanical and electrical installations.
Conduct regular inspections and tests on electrical systems and standby equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
Oversee and coordinate project work within the facility, including preparing schedules and reporting to the Facilities Manager.
Monitor and ensure the accuracy of helpdesk operations, timely response to breakdowns, and proper documentation of maintenance activities.
Propose, evaluate and recommend new engineering equipment, spare parts, consumables, and replacements to achieve the most practical and cost-effective solution.
Job Requirements :
Degree in engineering or related technical field.
Must possess at least A4 Chargeman from Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) for at least 11KV installation.
At least 2 years' experience in facilities management and engineering, preferably with multiple engineering experience / discipline. Experience in healthcare is an advantage.
Good spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Computer literacy is required.
Able to write and interprets contracts and specifications.
Wide experience in Healthcare Facility Management System, Biomedical Engineering Management System and OSHA Environmental Safety and Health.
Strong knowledge in Private healthcare and act 586, Drainage and Sewerage Act, Medical Device Act (MDA) (Act 737), Electricity Supply Act 1990, Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).
Knowledge in the latest edition of MSQH and JCI is an added advantage.
