Job title : Manager, Business Development
Responsibilities
- Drive B2B sales and seek and secure new partnerships with vendors.
- Sign up the best local and international vendors with a passion for the food and beverage industry.
- Gather restaurant and shop feedback, monitor competitor activity, and provide recommendations for improvements to management.
- Exceed sales targets and performance-based goals while working independently.
- Manage a portfolio of vendors (restaurants and shops) and aim for account retention, development, and maintenance.
- Be the local market expert by knowing the best restaurants and shops in Malaysia and providing recommendations.
- Act as brand ambassador : conduct cold calls and walk-ins, schedule in-person meetings, and sell the foodpanda service to potential vendors including top shops and restaurants in Malaysia.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales roles within MNCs, consulting, e-commerce, or startups.Strong management skills with the ability to manage and motivate a field team.Flexibility to accommodate non-traditional hours in restaurants and shops.Self-motivated with the ability to travel, work remotely, and perform under pressure.Outgoing and confident in appearance.Proactive with the ability to lead independent projects.Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly at all levels of the organization.Out-of-the-box thinker who challenges the status quo.#J-18808-Ljbffr
