General Manager, Brand and Marketing (Automotive)
Overview : We are seeking a strategic and forward‑thinking General Manager, Brand & Marketing to elevate overall brand visibility and strengthen market competitiveness. This role leads all brand, marketing, and lead‑generation functions, ensuring cohesive and impactful communication across ATL, BTL, and digital channels. The GM will oversee two key divisions—Brand Marketing (ATL & strategy) and Marketing Communications (BTL & digital)—driving alignment, performance, and consistent brand execution across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy Leadership : Define, manage, and enhance overall brand value; develop and enforce brand guidelines; refine positioning to adapt to market needs.
- Marketing Strategy Development : Formulate mid‑term, long‑term, and annual marketing plans; conduct market, competitor, and PEST analyses; evaluate and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Lead Generation Ownership : Oversee the full lead funnel from awareness to Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs); design integrated campaigns across ATL, BTL, and digital; optimize lead handover to Sales.
- Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) : Align ATL, BTL, and digital channels; ensure consistent brand messaging and customer experience; manage websites, landing pages, and social platforms strategically.
- Data‑Driven Management : Set and monitor KPIs such as brand awareness, NPS, lead quality, CPL, and ROI; analyze customer behavior to optimize conversion rates (CRO); allocate marketing spend efficiently.
- Team Leadership : Lead and develop the Brand Marketing and Marketing Communication teams; manage collaboration with agencies, PR partners, and digital vendors; drive talent development and cross‑department integration.
Requirements
Proven experience in brand and marketing strategy (automotive or consumer goods preferred).Expertise in ATL, BTL, and digital marketing integration.Strong track record in lead generation, CRO, and ROI‑driven decision making.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Fluent in English; proficiency in Malay and Chinese is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
