Responsibilities :
- Assist the Group Chief Risk Officer (GCRO) and functional supervisors in executing the group-wide business continuity strategies and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and risk management objectives.
- Assist the GCRO and functional supervisors in preparing for Business Impact Analysis (BIA) workshops, including coordinating with Business Units (BUs) Business Continuity Offices (BCO) to confirm the workshop schedules, conducting necessary research, and ensuring the availability of resources for the workshops.
- Support the GCRO and functional supervisors in preparing and reviewing the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Crisis Management Plan (CMP) for Business Units (BUs). This includes coordination with BU BCOs and Departmental Business Continuity Leaders (BCLs) for the ongoing maintenance of these plans for PPB Group Head Office (PPBHO) and BUs.
- Assist in maintaining and reviewing BCPs and CMPs for the organization, ensuring these plans remain current and relevant through regular updates in coordination with BUs and functional departments.
- Coordinate and assist with periodic exercises, including crisis simulation drills and testing of BCPs and CMPs. This is vital to ensure the organization is prepared to effectively respond to disruptions and crises.
- Support the GCRO and functional supervisors in preparing BCM awareness materials and training content, including onboarding training for new employees, annual refresher courses, and other educational materials designed to enhance BCM awareness across the Group.
- Work closely with the Head of Risk and other stakeholders to prepare periodic BCM reports for the GCRO's review, ensuring that these reports are ready for submission to the Group Business Continuity Steering Committee and Board. Provide insights and updates regarding BCM initiatives, exercises, and outcomes.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company, adapting to evolving business needs and ensuring that the BCM framework is continuously supported and enhanced.
Qualification :
Minimum Bachelor Degree / Professional Qualification in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Business Administration, Law, Engineering & equivalent.Professional certification in Business Continuity Management is an added advantage.Relevant Experience & Years of Service :
At least 2 years of relevant working experience in business continuity management or related fields, preferably in large or complex organizations.Technical Skills & Professional Knowledge :
Basic understanding of Business Continuity Management methodologies and best practices.A fair understanding of business operations processes across different functions.Strong analytical and process-driven mindset, with the ability to assess risks and contribute to effective risk mitigation strategies.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior management, stakeholders, and teams.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to prepare professional reports and presentations.Flexible and adaptable, with a strong ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment. Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.Ability to handle confidential data professionally, with a high level of credibility and integrity.Self-driven, results-oriented individual with the ability to work independently, focus on delivering results, and contribute to a high-performing team.Job Type : Full-time
