QA Engineer (Manual) - Support Hong Kong (Cantonese speaker)

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated QA Engineer (Manual Test) to join our team at ATech Solution in Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is a full-time position that will allow you to work alongside a talented and collaborative team.

What you'll be doing

Plan, develop, and execute manual regression, functional, and integration tests for assigned projects.
Create and maintain comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test data to ensure product quality.
Perform end-to-end testing across mobile, web and API-based applications.
Work closely with developers to improve system testability and ensure a reliable testing environment.
Identify, analyze, and document defects, ensuring timely resolution through collaboration with development teams.
Validate user experience, system performance, and compatibility across different devices and platforms.
Perform ad-hoc research & analysis and present results in a clear manner.

What we're looking for

At least 3 years of experience in software QA, mobile & Web application testing. Experienced in leading test teams preferred.

Proven experience in manual testing for enterprise-scale systems.

Strong understanding of software testing best practices and methodologies.

Experience in functional, non-functional, and regression testing.

Hands-on experience with mobile, API, web and application testing.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban) and test management tools.

Ability to write clear test cases and defect reports, ensuring accurate issue tracking.

Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation is a plus.

Understanding of CI / CD pipelines and automation concepts (not necessarily hands-on experience).

Strong analytical skills—able to identify, troubleshoot, and provide insights into product issues.

Passion for quality—enjoys finding defects and improving user experience.
