Project Manager – IT Infrastructure & Systems / Software Development
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of both IT Infrastructure & Systems projects and Software Development projects across pre‑sales and post‑sales phases. This role requires strong coordination, client engagement, and technical awareness, working closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful implementation of technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure & Systems Projects
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of IT infrastructure and systems projects from inception to completion.
- Manage project scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including IT, operations, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and align project deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate risks, escalating issues and proposing solutions to senior management as needed.
- Implement effective project management methodologies and tools to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Provide regular status updates and reporting to key stakeholders.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve project delivery and operational efficiency.
Software Development Projects
Responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects; adjust strategies according to business needs, effectively control project progress, and ensure timely, high‑quality completion.Oversee all implementation and management activities throughout the project lifecycle, including but not limited to meeting planning, organization, documentation, and progress tracking, with regular reporting to clients and management.Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, while coordinating the tasks of team members.Participate in software development work, writing efficient and maintainable code, and resolving technical issues.Communicate with clients and internal teams to clarify requirements and provide technical solutions.Prepare project‑related documentation, including requirement analysis, design proposals, and test reports.Ensure that projects comply with development standards and quality requirements.What We’re Looking For
IT Infrastructure & Systems Projects
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the IT infrastructure, systems domain.Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex, multi‑stakeholder projects.Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity.Proficient in project planning, budgeting, risk management, and resource allocation.Familiarity with IT infrastructure, systems, and technologies, including cloud computing, networking, and cybersecurity.Relevant certifications, such as PMP or PRINCE2, are highly desirable.Certifications such as CCNA / CCNP, RHCSA / RHCE, MCSE, or familiarity with monitoring platforms such as Zabbix, ELK, or knowledge of Hyper‑V / ZStack is a plus.Willingness to travel within the Greater Bay Area and adapt to flexible work arrangements.Software Development Projects
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in software development experience, with a background in Java development and project management; experience in the fin‑tech industry is a plus.Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python, and familiarity with database technologies such as Oracle and DB2 is preferred.Solid project management experience and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project).Excellent communication skills and strong team spirit, with the ability to work effectively in cross‑departmental environments.PMP or other project management certifications are an advantage.Willingness to travel within the Greater Bay Area and adapt to flexible work arrangements.#J-18808-Ljbffr
