Job Responsibilities

To teach courses delivered by the Department and, as required, to teach on associated programs offered by the university.
To supervise student projects and assist them in understanding assignment requirements.
To design and execute formative and summative assessment, including marking that is aligned with student learning outcomes.
To provide feedback to students on their learning through student consultations.
To conduct research in areas as per discussion with the Dean / Head of Department.
To publish papers and present papers at local and international conferences.
Other duties within the Department and University as required.

Job Requirements

A PhD or at least a Master’s Degree in Economics, Marketing, Statistics / Actuarial Science / IT.

At least 4–5 years working experience as an academic at the tertiary level.

Experience in supervising students’ academic research / dissertation at undergraduate and / or postgraduate level.

Published academic research in ranked journals.

A strong knowledge of the subject area combined with a broad subject background enabling contributions to teaching programs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

Knowledge of MQA standards and regulatory requirements.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
