Hotel Front Desk Receptionist cum Housekeeping

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Hotel Front Desk Receptionist cum Housekeeping to join our team at HPY Hotel Sdn. Bhd. in Simpang Pulai Perak. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while handling various front office and housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities

  • Providing a warm and welcoming experience for guests at the front desk
  • Handling guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently
  • Answering guest inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints promptly
  • Assisting with reservation management and room allocation
  • Performing basic housekeeping duties, including cleaning guest rooms, replenishing supplies, and ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel premises
  • Coordinating with the housekeeping team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
  • Adhering to the hotel's policies, procedures, and safety regulations

Qualifications / What were looking for

  • Previous experience in a front desk or hospitality role, preferably in a hotel or similar service-oriented environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both verbal and written
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, including weekends and public holidays
  • A positive, friendly, and professional attitude

    Working Hours

    3 days as Front Desk Receptionist — 3pm to 11pm or according to scheduled shift; 3 days as Housekeeping — 8am to 5pm
