Job description
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Supports the product development process in the planning, development, rollout and implementation of all food initiatives and products in a smooth and timely manner.
Coordinates & communicates with internal key stakeholders in ensuring that all necessary requirements / approvals are met and consolidated accordingly.
Coordinates & communicates the required communication to the Operations Team with understanding and clarity for implementation.
Ensures timely tracking of new / key food KPI's are reported on a periodic frequency
Participates in ideation sessions for new product development (NPD), menu trends & concepts, strategies,
SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT
Coordinates the pool of approved suppliers and collaborates with their respective teams to ensure that all due diligence with regards to product compliance are met.
Ensures that the product development process is within reasonable timelines for new product / s onboarding
Ensures the full compliance of finished product requirements according to domestic requirements
FOOD SUPPORT FUNCTION
Collaborates with Operation Team in performing store visits to evaluate and coach production team for calibration on best practices for the food program.
Share passion & knowledge for food to create enthusiasm for food and enable store team to drive results at the store level.
Support food development team to facilitate training programs for Area Managers, Store Managers and other store team.
Provides cross functional collaboration to other key departments in ensuring that the food development integrates with the overall Product & Marketing strategies.
Assists with food quality to ensure that food and beverage product standards are met from receipt of products to customer sale. Conducts on-site store evaluations and reports issues accordingly for resolution as needed.
