Location : Petaling Jaya

Department : Commercial – Modern Trade

Reports to : Group Key Account Manager

What You’ll Do

  • Define overall strategic priorities and develop value‑added plans that drive growth, based on shopper and customer requirements, aligned with company strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key account customers to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead day‑to‑day planning and operational tasks for assigned key accounts, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Spearhead the Joint Business Plan (JBP) process by defining, executing, and tracking game plans and sustainability initiatives with customers.
  • Manage and optimize within stipulated budgets to maximize account profitability.
  • Monitor customer performance by tracking sales, profitability, and market share, and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.) to ensure efficient and effective execution.
  • Conduct pre‑ and post‑evaluations of key campaigns, assessing both financial and executional KPIs, and share learnings with stakeholders.
  • Drive innovation in customer engagement by identifying opportunities for new initiatives, activations, and category growth.

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 1 – 3 years of Key Account (Foodservice) experience within FMCG companies.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the local FMCG trade environment, including insights into shoppers and consumer trends.
  • Proven ability to strategically analyse business needs, identify opportunities, and assess risks, with a track record of developing and implementing effective strategies and plans.
  • Proficiency in independently managing consumer and LTOs, from development to execution and evaluation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across functions and departments.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Self‑starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Adept at multitasking and prioritising tasks effectively.
