Job descriptionProfessional accounting qualification and / or a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Partial professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, MIA or equivalent). Fresh graduates or those with less than a year's experience in audit. Required language(s) : English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (preferred). Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage, as the role may involve liaising with Mandarin-speaking clients or stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to work independently and in a tight deadline environment. Detailed and organized and can manage self well. A good team player. Able to interact well with people.
Job Summary :
We are seeking an Audit Associate to assist in audit engagements, prepare reports, and support audit planning. Ideal for fresh grads with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. The location is at Sunway Tower, Jalan Ampang - 5 minutes or less from LRT Dang Wangi.
Job Responsibilities :
- Carry out audit jobs assigned by the supervisor within the timeframe given.
- Prepare and finalize audit working papers and audit reports for SME companies.
- Prepare audit planning for the supervisor to review before the commencement of audit work.
- Assist seniors in preparing audit schedules and audit procedures.
- Prepare draft tax computations and ensure adequate provision of tax liabilities.
- Reply to the Manager's review points within the timeframe given.
- Confirm the final audit reports with clients before release.
- Follow up on any outstanding issues and letters from clients.
- Liaise with company secretary, tax agents and other authorities to obtain statutory information required during the audit.
- Prepare group financial statements.
