The Professor of Psychology and Head of Department will lead the Department in delivering world‑class research, teaching, and professional practice. The role is a senior academic position that excels in academic leadership, scholarship, and community engagement within Monash University Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Department of Psychology, overseeing strategic planning, faculty development, and department operations.
• Foster excellence in research, ensuring high‑impact publications and secure external funding.
• Deliver and innovate undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, maintaining academic standards and curriculum relevance.
• Engage in professional activities and policy development that influence both the university and the wider community.
• Represent the department at institutional, national, and international forums.
• Report directly to the Head of School and collaborate with senior management.
