Job Responsibilities :
Integrates DFX Principles o Applies Design for Excellence (DFX) methodologies—such as DFM (Design for Manufacturability), DFA (Design for Assembly), DFT (Design for Testability), and DFR (Design for Reliability) for Product's PCBA and Mechanical assembly.
Cross-Functional Collaboration o Works closely with design, manufacturing, quality, and test engineering teams to ensure product designs are optimized for production and performance.
SMT technologies and process capability. o Deploy, develop, and enable new capabilities for site in SMT PCBA and Box Assembly.
Process Optimization o Develops and improves manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high product quality.
Early Design Involvement o Participates in early design reviews to identify potential manufacturing and testing issues, reducing late-stage changes, and improving time-to-market.
Risk Mitigation o Identifies and addresses design and process risks proactively, using tools like FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis).
Tool & Software Proficiency o Utilizes CAD, simulation tools, and EDA software (e.g., Mentor Graphics, Cadence) to analyze and validate design choices.
Documentation & Standards Compliance o Ensures all processes and design changes are well-documented and comply with industry standards and internal quality systems.
Continuous Improvement Mindset o Drives innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across design and manufacturing teams to enhance product lifecycle performance.
Job Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in E&E, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience and familiar with Product's PCBA and Mechanical assembly.
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and English.
