About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic finance team at Universal Standard Steel Engineering Sdn. Bhd. in Balakong, Selangor. As a full-time Senior Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our organisation's financial accounting and reporting operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial records
  • Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial support and guidance
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to overall team success.

What we're looking for

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or finance role, preferably within the manufacturing or engineering industry
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or CIMA) is highly desirable
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficient in the use of financial software (Auto-count & SQL Accounting) and spreadsheet applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
