Requirements

Diploma in Information Technology / Computer Science or equivalent or

Malaysian Skills Diploma Level 4 certified by MQA in relevant field (ICT) and

Minimum 6 months of working experience in Data Centre environment.

Knowledgeable in networking concepts is an advantage.

Knowledgeable in various Operating Systems such as Windows, Ubuntu, CentOS, RH Linux or others is an advantage.

Knowledgeable and experience in virtualization technology is an advantage.

Knowledgeable in security tools is an advantage.

Applicants must be Malaysian citizens.

Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

Assisting in managing the data centre facilities and infrastructure.

Assisting in managing server management (assemble, setup and configuration).

Assisting in managing the centre server virtualization services.

Assisting in managing the centre cyber security services.

Assisting in managing the centre system backup solution and procedures.

Participating in training opportunities and initiatives at the institution.

Standby and backup during disaster or incident recovery of the data centre (High Availability).

Staying current by exploring, testing and evaluating new ICT tools and technology.

LANGUAGE QUALIFICATION

All candidates must have obtained Credits (at least C) for Bahasa Melayu and English (including oral examination) in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government OR

At least Band 3 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET)
