The mission of Speechify is to make sure that reading is never a barrier to learning. Speechify's text-to-speech products turn PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, and websites into audio to help people read faster, read more, and remember more. Our products include the iOS app, Android app, Mac app, Chrome extension, and web app. Google named Speechify Chrome Extension of the Year and Apple named Speechify App of the Day.

Today, nearly 200 people work remotely on Speechify in a 100% distributed setting. Our team includes frontend and backend engineers, AI research scientists, and colleagues from Amazon, Microsoft, and Google, with backgrounds ranging from PhD programs to high-growth startups.

This is a key role for someone who thinks strategically, thrives in fast-paced environments, and loves making product decisions that create great user experiences. We are a flat organization that rewards leadership through excellent technical skills and consistent, fast results. Strong work ethic, clear communication, and a focus on delivering wins are essential. Our interview process includes several technical interviews, typically completed within 1 week.

What You’ll Do

• Actively ship production code to the web products
• Work closely with your dedicated product team
• Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap
• Have the opportunity to work on new and exciting features that will impact millions of lives
