Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and business growth.
- Analyze market trends, customer demands, and competitor activities to drive data-based decisions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in beverage and food sectors.
- Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential customers; ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing needs, resolving issues promptly, and delivering consistent support; conduct regular customer visits (locally and overseas) to gather feedback, strengthen relationships, and understand evolving requirements; prepare accurate and competitive quotations based on internal cost structure and customer specifications; collaborate with internal departments (finance, logistics, order handling) to ensure alignment; negotiate sales agreements and close deals professionally and ethically.
- Operational Support : Monitor and report sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline activity; ensure CRM systems and customer data are up to date; follow up on deliveries, payments, and post-sales service to ensure a smooth customer experience; work closely with production, QA, order handling and logistics to ensure customer expectations are met; contribute to product improvement by sharing customer feedback and market intelligence.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Packaging, or a related field.Minimum 5–8 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the packaging industry (e.g., aluminum cans, PET bottles / preforms, closures). Proven track record in managing key accounts and maintaining high customer satisfaction.Solid understanding of aluminum can & end production and line performance metrics (e.g., CPM, OEE). Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Flexibility & Mobility : Willing to travel extensively within the country and overseas as needed. Able to work remotely from home, with readiness to return to the office if required by the company.Languages : Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, or other regional languages is an advantage.Employment Details
