Public Relations Senior Account Executive / Manager

Saltine Communications is hiring for the Public Relations Senior Account Executive / Manager role. The base pay range is MYR36,000.00 / yr – MYR54,000.00 / yr. The Role

We are looking for an engaging, innovative communicator with experience in media pitching and client management. You should demonstrate initiative and accountability, cultivate a deep understanding of your clients, accounts and industry, and deliver valuable press coverage through a strategic approach. The ideal candidate will have impeccable writing skills, strong media relationships, and the ability to manage client expectations while mentoring a small team through agency work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client campaigns from start to end and manage day-to-day workflows for client work such as media pitching, database extraction and media liaison with a team
  • Develop and maintain mailings / product launch timelines, campaign timelines, strategic decks, media lists, status reports, and coverage updates
  • Guide and mentor junior PR strategists through training, management, and delegation
  • Maintain client relationships and counsel clients on strategic PR direction
  • Stay current with media developments, trends and opportunities for clients and the industry, with strong research skills
  • Monitor and engage media and interest groups on behalf of clients
  • Develop effective PR materials such as media pitches, press releases, spokesperson profiles, and fact sheets
  • Pitch relevant stories to key media contacts and secure top-tier opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with media contacts; organize media events and tours
  • Ensure quality work is produced on time without errors
  • Be a brand ambassador for Saltine

Ideal Profile / Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in Public Relations / PR within the Media & Entertainment industry (preferred)
  • Strong media relationships and a proven track record of executing successful PR campaigns
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work
  • Highly goal-driven and able to work in fast-paced environments
  • Impeccable writing skills and ability to craft messaging; comfortable with media liaison
