Job Summary
The Solids Control (SC) Service Planner responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and optimizing manpower and equipment deployment for solids control operations in offshore and onshore drilling projects. This role ensures that the right personnel, tools, and spare parts are available at the right time, while maintaining compliance with client requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
Responsibilities and Duties
Planning & Coordination
- Develop and maintain short-term and long-term manpower and equipment schedules for solids control operations across multiple rigs / projects.
- Coordinate with operations team, logistics, and client representatives to align mobilization / demobilization plans.
- Ensure equipment allocation aligns with contractual requirements and project demand.
- Monitor crew rotations and certifications to ensure readiness and compliance.
Quality & HSE
Ensure all personnel certifications, medicals, and safety trainings are valid prior to mobilization.Comply with client and regulatory requirements for offshore / onshore deployment.Incorporate safety and operational risk considerations into planning activities.Qualifications & Skills
Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum 3–5 years' experience in oilfield services, preferably in solids control, waste management, or drilling fluids operations.Strong knowledge of solids control equipment (centrifuges, shakers, pumps, dryers) and offshore operation workflows.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and planning tools.Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and coordination skills across multicultural teams.Ability to work under pressure and respond to urgent operational changes.
