Job description
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Digital Sales Representatives and Sales Engineers (as applicable) to achieve or exceed quota.
Set clear goals, performance metrics, and development plans; conduct regular 1 : 1s, performance reviews, and recognition.
Foster a high-performance culture with collaboration across marketing, product, and customer success.
Hire, onboard, and ramp new team members; ensure ongoing skills development and certification.
Build relationships with channel partners, MSPs, and strategic alliances that amplify digital reach for VM Essentials.
Coordinate with Customer Success to ensure a smooth post-sale experience, renewal opportunities, and expansion into existing accounts.
Advocate for customer-centric value realization, ROI, and TCO improvements.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
5–8+ years of B2B software or IT infrastructure sales experience, with a strong track record in digital / e-commerce or inside sales leadership.
Demonstrated success in forecasting, pipeline management, and quota attainment in a digital sales environment.
Experience with virtualization, cloud management, or IT infrastructure solutions (preferably HPE ecosystem) is highly desirable.
Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo), and analytics platforms.
Strong analytical mindset; ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills; able to articulate ROI and business value to technical and executive audiences.
Leadership experience : coaching, recruiting, performance management, and team development.
Strong collaboration skills across marketing, product, sales operations, and finance.
Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to forecasting and pipeline optimization.
Customer-centric mindset with ability to build trusted relationships at multiple levels.
Change management and adaptability in a fast-paced market.
Problem-solving orientation; comfortable challenging the status quo and testing new approaches.
