The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of the organization, ensuring that all facilities, equipment, and systems operate efficiently and effectively. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and hands-on technical expertise to uphold high standards of safety, reliability, and performance.

Maintenance Operations
- Oversee daily maintenance activities to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of all equipment and facilities
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues
Team Leadership
Manage, mentor, and develop the maintenance team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellenceConduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify training needs to enhance team capabilitiesEnsure appropriate staffing levels and manage scheduling to maintain adequate coveragePlanning and Scheduling
Develop and maintain maintenance schedules, ensuring regular servicing and inspections of equipmentCoordinate with other departments to plan and schedule maintenance activities, minimizing operational disruptionsBudget Management
Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resourcesMonitor and control expenses, including parts, labor, and contracted servicesSafety and Compliance
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standardsConduct regular safety audits and inspections, addressing any hazards or compliance issuesPromote a safety-first culture within the maintenance teamVendor and Contractor Management
Manage relationships with external vendors and service providersNegotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure quality and cost-effectivenessOversee contractor work to ensure adherence to company standardsTechnical Expertise
Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance team and other departmentsTroubleshoot complex maintenance issues and implement effective solutionsStay updated on the latest maintenance technologies, techniques, and best practicesDocumentation and Reporting

Lead improvement projects from planning through executionDemonstrate the ability to deliver projects on time and within budgetRequirements
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering fieldAt least 10 years of experience in manufacturing, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial maintenance roleStrong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical equipment, machinery, and preventive maintenance practicesExperience in lean manufacturing is an added advantageProven ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable about safety regulation
