Job description

The Executive Payroll is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursements, maintaining compliance with statutory regulations, and supporting HR documentation and reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Office tools

Responsibilities

Payroll Management

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
  • Monitor and update staff medical expenses for payroll inclusion.
  • Verify and reconcile staff attendance and overtime records.
  • Manage attendance records for outsourced workers.
  • Handle issuance of employee badges and registration of new hires.

Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure payroll processes comply with Malaysian labor laws and statutory requirements (e.g., EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
  • Prepare and submit statutory contributions and deductions on time.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in payroll-related legislation.
  • Reporting & Analysis

  • Generate monthly payroll reports and medical claims summaries.
  • Provide payroll data and analysis to support management decisions.
  • Assist in internal and external audits related to payroll.
  • Documentation & Record Keeping

  • Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records.
  • File and organize HR and payroll documentation systematically.
  • Ensure data integrity and security in all payroll-related files.
  • HR Administrative Support

  • Support HR Manager in administrative tasks related to employee compensation and benefits.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and leave balances.
  • Qualifications

    Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • 0+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably as a HR Representative
  • Advanced PC skills to include extensive and strong use of Excel and other programs (Windows, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including active, engaged listening.
