Job description

Shopee is seeking a Sales Executive based in Penang. The role involves monitoring merchants' performance, working with account management, and observing competitor activities.

Key responsibilities include :

Monitor merchants' performance by Areas to ensure merchants are on par with Shopee's current product promo / channel or campaigns.
Work together closely with merchants' account management.
Observe and report competitor activities / programs in respective Areas and review their effectiveness / threat / opportunities towards Shopee.
Propose Quick Win actions to maintain competitiveness within Areas.
Explore green field areas within Areas for further expansion.
Achieve sales targets for co-funding & campaigns, leading to the revenue increase.
Constantly ensure Shopee's presence is visible within Areas managed.
Identify high-potential accounts, converting them to Shopee merchants.

Requirements :

Based in Penang

SPM or Diploma in any field, preferred but not limited to Business, Commerce, Marketing

Sales experience, preferably in FMCG and Telco industry

Knowledgeable and passionate about e-commerce / digital payments

Effective presentation skills, backed by good business acumen

Enjoy challenges and remain flexible in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment

Proactively engage, influence, and collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Innovative problem-solving skills, able to dissect problems and implement solutions accordingly

Excellent command of English, the ability to converse fluently in other languages (e.g. : Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin) to communicate with merchants from diverse backgrounds

Open to flexible working arrangements during peak seasons / based on business needs
