Backend Engineer (.NET)

We are seeking a .NET Backend Engineer to support our client's full software development lifecycle — from requirements analysis, coding, testing, and documentation to deployment and maintenance. The role involves developing high-quality backend services that meet technical specifications, follow application standards, and support business needs. -Analyze and translate user requirements into technical specifications. -Design, develop, and maintain backend application programs using .NET technologies, following best practices and coding standards. -Conduct unit and integration testing, document test results, and implement necessary changes. -Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), including preparing checklists, conducting briefings, and supporting end users. -Write and maintain technical documentation for system operations and support. -Participate in project briefings with development and support teams. -Troubleshoot and resolve issues post-implementation, providing timely support to users. -Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system quality and reliability. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. -Strong foundation in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, etc.), relational databases (SQL Server), and object-oriented programming. -1–3 years of hands-on experience in application development or software testing. -Familiarity with system development life cycle (SDLC) and agile development methodologies. -Exposure to insurance or financial services domain is an added advantage. -Good communication and documentation skills.
