Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of Secondary / SPM / 'O' Level certification.
  • Open to fresh graduates and entry-level candidates seeking a career in the Food & Beverage industry.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills with a proactive and friendly attitude to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Exhibit strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced tea bar environment.
  • Communicate effectively in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to cater to a diverse customer base.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail in preparing tea beverages and managing inventory.
  • Possess a foundational knowledge of various tea types, brewing methods, and tea-based recipes; willingness to expand tea knowledge is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a diverse range of tea beverages, including traditional teas, specialty tea blends, and innovative tea-based drinks, ensuring consistent quality and presentation according to established recipes and standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders accurately, offering recommendations based on tea knowledge and customer preferences, and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked tea bar area, adhering to strict hygiene and sanitation standards, including regular cleaning of equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to ensure a safe and pleasant environment.
  • Manage inventory effectively by monitoring tea and supply levels, notifying management of low stock, and assisting with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and minimizing waste.
  • Operate and maintain tea brewing equipment, including tea makers, espresso machines (if applicable), and other related tools, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including cash handling, safety regulations, and dress code, ensuring compliance and contributing to a positive and professional work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and a positive customer experience, assisting with tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting other team members as needed.
