Job Description
You will assist the General Manager, Business Park & Industrial Malaysia, and be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the company’s developments in Nusajaya, Johor Bahru.
Key Responsibilities :
- Business partnering with Finance Shared Service, Operations teams and joint venture partners to provide advice on financial reporting and planning activities
- Review monthly closing of accounts, prepare financial reports, analysis for management’s decision making and ensure compliance with group’s accounting policies
- Review and monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projection for loan drawdown or repayment decisions, monitoring of loan covenants
- Review SST reporting and income tax computations
- Preparation of financial statements, liaise with auditors and tax agents and ensure compliance with Malaysia financial reporting standards
- Perform annual budgeting and periodic forecasting, including variance analysis and variance reporting
- Perform financial simulation or scenario planning and ongoing process improvements
Requirements :
Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy or ACCA, MACPA and / or MIAAt least 8 years of relevant working experience in a computerized accounting environmentProficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with Yardi accounting software and Cognos Controller (consolidation) is an added advantageGood understanding of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and local tax rulesKnowledge of SST principles and reporting requirementsExperience in the real estate industry is preferredAbility to work independently and deliver under tight timelinesStrong analytical and interpersonal skillsBenefits
