Summary

High-speed cable taping process development, with the ability to independently make samples and qualify tooling / products. Must be capable of analysis and report creation, actively improving the process and reducing scrap.

Support migration and duplication of Bulk Cable process (China to Penang). Assist project engineers to achieve targets and successfully introduce new products into mass production.

Responsibilities

Taping process including equipment / tooling development for NPI
Develop advanced process technology for bulk cable to support production and new business development
Monitor sample making programs and resolve technical issues
Create and maintain process documents, SOPs, and VPs based on product drawings and process needs

Requirements

Associate degree with an engineering background

Minimum 5 years of high-speed bulk cable manufacturing experience

Well-versed in taping processes

Ability to solve critical issues and stabilize processes using tools like FACA, DOE, SPC

Strong logical analysis skills and knowledge of SI

Good communication skills, integrity, and accountability

Proficient in evaluation processes such as BOP, P-FMEA, DFM

Basic data analysis skills, including CPK, PPK, yield analysis, T-test, tolerance, correlation, regression
