Overview

Our client is a prominent organization within the Operations division. They are seeking a dedicated Supply Planner to support the business in ensuring optimized stock levels to meet commercial and financial objectives. The role is pivotal in establishing and managing supply planning activities to align stock coverage with forecasted demand and agreed-upon targets. This position involves collaborating with other APAC Supply Planners to share best practices and support tool development.

About the Role

As a Supply Planner, you will be responsible for managing supply plans and orders, identifying and communicating deviations from targets, and assisting the business in taking corrective actions. The role requires you to maintain key relationships with Brand Owner Companies and implement value-added opportunities to enhance service levels.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing stock transfer planning between multiple warehouses to achieve optimal stock cover.
  • Placing purchase orders and tracking the supply status of finished goods in designated systems.
  • Preparing performance reports such as stock on hand, days forward coverage, and stock exceptions.
  • Liaising with Brand Owner Companies on shipping dates and purchase order amendments, and communicating incoming stock situations to stakeholders.
  • Monitoring shipping schedules and ETAs via designated systems.
  • Managing product life cycles, including new product implementation tracking.
  • Driving system improvements by focusing on reducing non-value-add items.

About the Team

This is an individual contributor role with no subordinates. You will report directly to the Supply Chain Lead. The position requires you to work with other APAC Supply Planners and build strong working relationships with various Brand Companies.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Education and Experience : You should be a degree holder with formal business qualifications or equivalent. A minimum of 5 years of planning experience in the FMCG industry is required.
  • Technical Skills : You must have advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with large data sets. Experience with JDE and Demand Planning is an added advantage.
  • Key Competencies : You should possess strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities. The role requires you to be adaptable, able to set priorities, and effectively manage change in a fast-paced environment. Good presentation and project management skills are also expected.
