The Product Manager is responsible for driving the strategic direction, design, development, and performance of the company’s e-Procurement and e-Invoicing solutions. This role ensures that products remain competitive, compliant with regulatory frameworks (IMDA, IRAS, LHDN, OpenPeppol), and aligned with business objectives. The Product Manager will act as a bridge between regulatory bodies, technical teams, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative, scalable, and user-friendly solutions that support regional market adoption.
The Product Manager / Business Analyst (PM / BA) at SESAMi plays a dual role — driving the strategic direction of SESAMi’s e-Procurement and e-Invoicing solutions while also performing detailed business analysis to ensure solutions meet customer, business, and regulatory needs. This role bridges strategy and execution : shaping the product roadmap, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks (IMDA, IRAS, LHDN, OpenPeppol), gathering and translating requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver user-friendly and scalable solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Product Roadmap Management
Align the product roadmap with strategic business objectives to maintain market competitiveness.
Ensure e-Procurement and e-Invoicing solutions comply with IMDA, IRAS, LHDN, OpenPeppol standards and other regulatory requirements.Act as liaison with regulatory bodies to stay updated on compliance changes and advocate for the company’s interests.Continuously refine products based on customer feedback, market trends, and regulatory updates.Business Analysis & Requirements ManagementWork closely with stakeholders (internal and external) to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Conduct gap analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancements or new features.Collaborate with QA and UAT teams to validate solutions against requirements.Product Design & DevelopmentOversee timely execution of roadmap deliverables, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop user-friendly, compliant solutions.Innovate and optimize internal processes to enable product scalability and mass-market deployment.Product OwnershipDefine and maintain reporting parameters to monitor solution performance in Singapore and Malaysia.
Partner with technical teams to ensure optimal product performance and continuous improvement.Collaborate with Sales and Partnership teams to gather feedback and provide ongoing technical support.Serve as Documentation Owner, maintaining a repository of best practices, deployment guides, and FAQs.Other DutiesCarry out additional tasks assigned by the superior to support product and organizational objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field.3–5 years of proven experience in product management, preferably in e-Procurement, e-Invoicing, fintech, or SaaS.3–5 years of combined experience in Product Management and / or Business Analysis within SaaS, fintech, or e-invoicing solutions.Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., IMDA, IRAS, LHDN, OpenPeppol).Experience working in cross-functional teams, bridging technical and business requirements.Competencies Required
