Resident Medical Officer

Jobscope :

• Performing history taking, physical examination and counselling patients on blood test, X-ray, ECG and other relevant investigation reports.
• Generating health screening / other medical reports based on patient medical check-up reports and recommendations for further investigations with referrals to consultants for abnormal results.
• Consult patients on topics such as proper nutrition, fitness and hygiene to assist them in making informed decisions and taking good care of their health
• Identifying abnormalities and diseases detected from health screening reports.
• Prescribe medications in compliance with national health regulatory and inform patients of all possible risks, complications and interference with other medications they may be taking.
• Managing chronic diseases / conditions within the primary care setting.
• Maintain updated patient's medical records that document all evaluations, medications, treatments, allergies, test results and other records into the Hospital Information System; in accordance with agreed protocols.
• Assist in the hospital's programmes and activities such as giving health / medical talks, conducting health screening programme, vaccination campaign for public either on-site or off-site.
• Promoting Wellness Centre's health screening program.
• Supporting on the manpower to cover the branches and associate clinics.
