Open Systems Specialist (Terraform, Chef, Ansible), GIPS

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Process and Automation Engineer to drive infrastructure automation, improve operational efficiency, and optimize IT workflows. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies and automation tools such as Chef, Terraform, Ansible, and others. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline deployments, enforcepliance, and enhance system reliability.

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to optimize IT processes.
• Leverage IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, etc.) to manage infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments.
• Develop and maintain configuration management solutions to ensure system consistency and security.
• Implement CI / CD pipelines to support infrastructure automation and application deployment.
• Work closely with Project, Operation and Security teams to define and enforce infrastructure best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation scripts, infrastructure configurations, and deployment failures.
• Monitor system performance and proactively rmend optimization strategies.
• Document automation processes, configurations, and best practices.
