Job description

This job is for a Log Analyst in the upstream oil and gas sector. You might like this job because you'll analyze well log data, prepare reports, and work with engineers to improve processes, all while ensuring safety standards are met.

Analyze and interpret well log data for reporting and client presentations.
Support planning and execution of well logging projects.
Prepare technical reports and ensure data accuracy.
Collaborate with engineers and geoscientists to improve analysis processes.
Ensure compliance with company HSSE and ISO 9001 : 2015 standards.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Petrophysics, Geology, Petroleum, Geoscience, or related STEM field .

5–7 years of experience in well logging, data interpretation, or upstream oil & gas operations.

Proficient in Kappa Saphir, Kappa Emeraude, GE-Sondex WIVA, WIPER, and Warrior.

Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.

Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia .

Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining safety and data integrity.
