What We're Looking For Meltwater, a SaaS company and global leader in media intelligence, is hiring a Media Research Specialist to join our Content Support team. The Content Support team plays a vital role in building and maintaining an extensive, high-quality database of media sources and journalists. This ensures our platform delivers accurate, timely, and relevant media content to our global client base.We're looking for curious and detail-orientated individuals with a passion for media, communication and technology. As a Media Research Specialist, you’ll combine media expertise with an understanding of PR and customer needs to keep our databases organized, relevant, and comprehensive. What You’ll Do -Responding to customer feedback and inquiries in a timely, professional manner. -Researching and verifying media sources and journalist data. -Proactively identifying projects that enhance content quality and the customer experience at Meltwater. -Researching news sources, journalists, and media professionals across regions. -Developing in-depth knowledge of news cycles, media trends, and the evolving media landscape. -Collaborating with colleagues across Content Support, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams. -Work closely with teammates to streamline workflows, share knowledge, and contribute to a culture of operational excellence. -Contributing to data quality projects, automation initiatives, and content strategy. What You’ll Bring -Bachelor's degree or a equivalent experience, preferrably in media related degree. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus). -Strong online research capabilities and media literacy. -Interest in journalism, media, and communications. -Accustomed to working autonomously and as part of a global team in a fast-paced organization with ambitious growth plans. -A mindset for quality, accuracy, and the bigger picture to be able to deliver high quality results in timely manner.  -High digital literacy and comfort with using modern tech tools. -A structured and detail-driven work style to be able to quickly adapt to changes to customer requirements. -Strong self-motivation and responsibility to be able to work through deliverables and provide approprioate solutions with limited supervision. -Comfortable working in an agile and truly global environment. -A passion for learning, continuous improvement, and innovation. -Enthusiasm for tech-driven environments and a willingness to adapt quickly. -Willingness to embrace the best of both worlds with our hybrid work schedule. This role requires you to be in the office once a week. -The ability to legally work in the country of hire is required for this position.
