Environment Health Safety (EHS) Engineer
Manage site EHS section operations, and responsible for section budget, goals and performance.
Participate in the development and implementation of corporate-wide EHS policies and standards, goals, and communication.
Develop and implement site EHS programs, practices and procedures to meet site EHS goals and corporate EHS goals.
Lead site in compliance with laws and regulations associated with site EHS issues, and ISO14001 & OSHAS18001.
Be accountable for all projects assigned to the section and provide support and consultant to assigned engineer to be sure of the delivery.
Ensure EHS participation in problem identification and resolution as appropriate.
Be involved in appropriate groups and individuals in identification and resolution as appropriate.
Lead and participate in plant wide cross initiative to promote EHS awareness, and total involvement culture. Such as EHS committee, compliance initiative.
Train, develop and retain staff
Other working tasks assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements :
Bachelor's degree or above in engineering of safety or environment, or equivalent.
Good oral and written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Possess 4~6 years’ Environment, Health & Safety expertise experience in a high paced environment (Manufacturing).
Experience in Sustainability Reporting.
Professional certification in health, safety or environment.
