About the Role

Sitecore is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Data Engineering to lead our data engineering initiatives across cloud platforms. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and developing two high-performing teams : one focused on cloud vendor cost data, and the other on product usage data. This is a critical leadership role, responsible for driving data strategy, optimising cloud data solutions, and ensuring the delivery of actionable insights to support business decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, mentor, and manage two specialised data engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of data solutions on Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Drive initiatives to optimise the collection, processing, and analysis of cloud vendor cost data and product usage data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including product, finance, and IT teams, to develop and execute data strategies aligned with organisational goals.
• Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, quality, and compliance across all data engineering projects.
• Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process improvement within the data engineering lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on the adoption of new data technologies and methodologies.
• Monitor and manage team performance, setting clear objectives and ensuring accountability for deliverables.
