Requirements
a) At least 3-5 years in work experience in accounting and administration roles.
b) Experience handling banking systems and acting as a bank maker.
c) Proficiency in e-invoicing systems and understanding of e-invoicing regulations.
d) Proficient in full-set accounting and financial reporting standards.
e) Familiar with accounting software (e.g., SQL, Xero etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
f) Knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations, compliance requirements, and e-invoicing frameworks.
g) Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
h) Familiarity with international transactions and cross-border financial processes.
i) Proficiency in Bahasa Melayu, English (Mandarin is an advantage for liaising with Chinese stakeholders).
j) Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive financial data.
k) Strong multitasking abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
l) Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and grow with the company.
Responsibilities
1. Manage full-set accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end / year-end closing.
2. Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
3. Reconcile bank statements, monitor cash flow, and ensure accuracy in treasury management.
4. Maintain fixed asset registers and perform depreciation accounting.
5. Prepare and submit tax filings, including SST etc.
6. Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
7. Implement and manage e-invoicing systems in compliance with regulatory requirements.
8. Monitor e-invoicing submissions to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
9. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and external stakeholders for audits and assessments.
10. Perform the role of a bank maker by preparing payment instructions and transaction requests for management approval.
11. Monitor daily cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds for operational needs.
12. Manage foreign currency transactions to minimize exchange losses.
13. Coordinate with banks to facilitate international wire transfers and other banking operations.
14. Develop treasury policies to optimize working capital and mitigate financial risks.
15. Process and review employee claims for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
16. Ensure timely reimbursement and maintain proper documentation for all claims.
17. Keep organized records of claims and expenses for audits and reporting.
18. Maintain organized records of administrative activities and correspondence with shareholders.
